13 June - King of Pop Michael Jackson cleared of all child abuse charges

On 24 August 1993, he was accused of child abuse. On tour at the time in Thailand he said he felt confident that the investigation would clear him but he settled out of court. Then in November 2003, Martin Bashir made a documentary that put the singer back on trial. Four months later he was cleared. The King of Pop never recovered from the accusations and in 2009, after years of taking prescription drugs to help him sleep, he died.
