15 June - UK Dr Harold Shipman kills his 87-year-old patient

When Dr Shipman diagnosed Mrs Cicely Sharples with congestive heart failure, the week before, it was effectively a death sentence. He used this condition as a cover to explain why a patient had died several days later when he visited. Two witnesses saw Mrs Sharples on this date and neither remembers her saying she was unwell.
